Questerra is a productivity app that turns your to-do list into a gamified questing experience. We are committed to respecting and protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy outlines what data we collect, how we use it, and what choices you have.

1. Data Storage & Sync

Currently:
All data — including quests, routines, journal entries, and settings — is stored locally on your device. No data is collected or transmitted to our servers or to third parties at this time.

In the future:
We may introduce cloud storage (e.g. iCloud) or optional server-based sync features to support shared quests, multiplayer functionality, and data backups.

2. Personal Information

We do not currently collect personal information such as name, email, or contact info within the app.

If we add multiplayer or account-based features in the future, we may request limited user information (e.g., display name or email) for syncing, support, or multiplayer functionality.

3. In-App Purchases & Subscriptions

Questerra may offer optional premium features, such as aesthetic customizations, themes, or gameplay enhancements via one-time purchases or subscriptions.

Payment is processed through the App Store. We do not store or have access to your payment details. Purchase history may be recorded in order to unlock or restore premium content.

4. Advertising & Analytics

Currently we do not show ads and do not use analytics tools. We may integrate advertising or anonymous usage analytics to support the app’s free version and improve user experience. Any data used will be non-personally identifiable, and you will have clear information about these features before or when they launch.

5. User Control & Responsibility

You control your data. If you uninstall the app or reset your device, all local data will be deleted unless you've used a system-wide device backup.

If cloud sync becomes available, we will provide options to manage your synced data.
